Unhappy My mother board only supports PC2100 can I use PC200

I have a mother board that only support upto PC2100 but I have some extra ram that is PC3200.. With these ram work on my mother board?? Any help would be great...

you can use that ram on your motherboard the only thing is that the ram will only be able to be at the speed of your motherboard which is pc2100 ... so you would stick a pc3200 ram chip in there and the max speed it will run at is 2100... so yes it is possible.. but its a waste of money.. just buy 2100.. or upgrade your mobo
