My fan is too noisy

Thats what I have and I was wondering If I could slow the fan down even more and its allready at minimum on the speed control and the blower is too but the blower isn't making alot of noise like the fan is!!!

if its new u probly wont have this program but make sure there is no dust on the fan and that the area to where its blowing or sucking to is well ventilated to allow air to pass freely..

heh...you think your fan is loud? I have a vantec tornado 4800 rpm fan on my CPU....sounds like a airport in my room

but oh man is my cpu cold.

yeah I had one that sounded like a jet airplane landing in my room when it got hot so I bought a new one!!!

Certain fans are jsut louder than others, especially older bal-bearing designed ones. Panaflo's are known for being quiet, Delta's as well.

I had a fan that came ith my Dynatron cooler and it pushed over 50cfm's i believe, 4800-5000RPM's (and it was only a 60mm, very thick though) You could hear that thing down the hallway on high. I ran it at 10% power and it was still pretty loud.
