Well, in the next week or so, i should be getting my order out for:

ABIT AW9D-Max
e6600
G.Skill 2gb pc2-6400 gbhz
x1900xt which i already have
water cooled gigabyte aurora case which im using now

the qx6700 is two x6800's stuck together to make a quad-core and then the multiplier is turned down one to 2.67GHz. but with my watercooling im sure i can get that thing to 3.6 at least!

ha ya u got me beat there. 2.4 to 2.75 (sig is old) isnt a bad OC for a S478 (wow just noticed another sig mistake!) p4 tho!

so is there even much of a difference in performance then? I'd guess that the "core 4 duo?" would OC to be much better than the other one but i don't know why they would have them priced so closely unless there isn't much of a difference.

still...two C2D's in one sounds freaking awesome

it would sound better if someone came out with a intel c4d 4x4 system. i can imagine it would cost lots tho
