L Lord AnthraX Fully Optimized Messages 2,992 Oct 19, 2006 #2 No. Its just the acctual Speed that matters. You could have like a 500 FSB and a 5 Multi and have a 2.5 Ghz CPU. Of course doing this, your ram would be WAY behind and Im sure your motherboard would need more juice.
