I have MBM 5. I ran the MBM 5 Config Wizard, updated, chose my motherboard and chose to read in celsius. Now I get two zeros, black and red, with two lines above and under, in my taskbar. Am I missing an extra step of configuration?

edit: oh nevermind, I fixed it. Just one question though... do these readings seem normal for a pre-built HP with a P4 clocked @ 1.6 Ghz, and in idel temp?

if that's the regular clock speed for your P4, then you're actually doing rather well. Those things get hot, and that's a good temp for an early P4.

well I recently took apart my entire pc, cleared off litterally all the dust and replaced the thermal paste for all the heatsinks in there including the cpu, and it runs like new. only problem is, is that under a moderatre load it goes to 51 degrees..
