Question moding out a dell laptop screen need help

i am in the process of tearing apart an old DELL inspirion 5000(insert sadistic laugh here'') to get at the lcd screen which i intend to use in a futuer mod that i am designing,
was just wondering if there was some place online that sold som dort of an adapter to go from the ....??? port on the back of the LCD screen to either a DVI or AVG port on a video card......
any suggestions???
