Some mild updates:

Got a 180mm fan, and a 90 to go with it. Installed the blowhole.

No pics until next monday though.

Also got an XFX 7900GT OC, and if you didnt know, the XFX colors match the cases theme.

The blowhole is in the front of the case. And its more of a turbine.

Anyways, work progressed on this project last night, made a drive drawer, cut out more metal for the fan, and got the turbine mounted PROPERLY. All I have left to do is to bondo up the turbine, install the window in the side, and paint the front panel.

I hope it turns out well.

Pics on monday.

Okay, I have a question for you guys.

What should I use to layer a 1" thick coating around the blowhole, to giive it shape. I was going to use bondo, but I heard that cracks when it is in thick coats, then I thought about expanding foam, but I heard that was very hard to work with.

So, I need some kind of modeling putty, or equivalent, that I can get at a hardware store.

Pics on friday. I don't have a computer at home.

Anyways, I will take pics of the progress, but I will not be able to host them until friday.

I think I am going to use automotive modeling clay. Auto body filler cracks if you lay it on over 1/2" thick.

this sounds good, i wanna see this now.....

out curiousity, what would i need to start modding?

i wanna start but i cant rely just use a knife and cut up my case can i =P
