Lightbulb Modding ideas for my pc?

I built my own comp about 3 or 4 months ago and wanna start modding it and improving its performance (not that theres anything wrong as it runs smoothly). I wondered what people would suggest, as when i get my next pay from work i'm gonna spend some on the pc.

Heres my specs:

Plain black case (no mods as yet)
AMD Sempron 2600+ 1.83ghz
512MB ram
Radeon 9550 256MB
Maxtor 80MB hard drive
120MB Hard drive (forgot what make)
Samsung DVD-RW drive
Tri-led side fan
PCI Exhuast fan

pretty basic as you can see.

(btw i use the comp basically to do allsorts including graphics, listening to music, and surfing)

I'd start with the Graphic Card. 9550 is pretty old. After that, try adding another 512MB RAM, and then maybe a faster CPU.

Old Specs:
Intel Celeron D 2.8Ghz
80G Seagate Baracuda 7200.7
GeForce FX5500 (PCI) OCed to 300/500
am I missing anything?

Now: Toshiba Sattelite L35-S2161 running Ubuntu :)

Go to
Here you can get some dope window kits that are so easy top ut in, my mom could of done it.
THen if you want get a top window mod with 2 80mm fan holes o top, you are going to have to measure to see if everything below the top will be not disrupted.
THen on cable get all rounded 1de cables,(cleans up the inside of your case air transfers better better cooling.
Get some fans that are led or that are uv reactive,

Stick a Uv reactive Sound polsating cold cathode in there with a cold cathode green. Then get some wirelooms and cover all of you wires so they glow, THis is all pretty cheap, 100 bucks and you will have the coolest inside in you moms basment
