What test on memtest86 tells if ram is stable and what test on prime95 will tell you cpu is stable?

any tests on prime 95 will do except for the benchmark option and its good to run a long loop of ALL tests on memtest. it should autorun all test on a loop anyway. for a quick memory stability test on an overclock run around 20-25 passes of test 5.

The tourture test on prime95 is what you use. Use blend tests. And let it run overnight. Same thing for memtest, just run it and let it go overnight. 20 passes is a good number to hit.

for prime95 cpu tests it is best to use "in place FFT's"
