Default Memory timings

Are memory timings that important when choosing memory?

Is ddr500 w/ 3-4-4-8

better than

ddr460 (overclock number) w/2-2-2-6

When I lossened timings from 2-2-2-5 to 2.5-3-3-7, I only experienced a 30 point drop of the Memory score in pcmark02!

Timings dont make a HUGE difference, but timings of 3-4-4-8 will surely suck compared to 2-2-2-6
You'd be looking at a 200+mb/sec drop in a Sandra memory bandwidth bench test.
