Question memory frequency

ok, so when I increase my fsb my memory frequency goes down.
Is that normal or when my memory frequency goes down that mean my ram operates at a faster rate?
My fsb to ram ratio is 1:1 ==> should i change it?
and i think it would be nice to add that i dont have any fancy OCable ram and stuff, just 512Mb of ddr2 PC4300, but right now it seems to be doing just fine.
btw my memory frequency was 533Mhz before I touched my fsb
Thx for help!

You want a 1:1 ratio. That way your CPU dosent have to wait for your RAM, or vice versa.

Also, if you want a decent OC, you need some decent RAM. Spend the money, it is worth it.
