Mem Divider?

hey,

I just ordered a Thermaltake Silent 939 K8 (AM2 compat) and some AS5 and all that jazz, as well as a replacement stick of RAM. I intend to OC to atleast 2.6GHz (It's hit 2.5GHz before with the stock hsf/pad and stock voltage) However...I didn't find a memory divider so i just set my RAM from DDR2 800 to 667...It seemed to work the first time but wouldn't boot again. (maybe needed more voltage on the core) but either way..I CANNOT find a "memory divider" to throttle back the ram? Any pointers? My board is an ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe Thanks in advance!

anyone? bueler....Why can't i find the mem divider in my bios? Am I just crazy?

so it should be in the cpu settings on the bottom if it is similar to mine. then change to limit... etc etc yours will vary from mine as it is am2 with the ddr2 support

lol...yup. figured as much. Do i change the timings? like the 5-5-5-15 things to 4-4-4-12? No right?

Either way I've gotta flash my bios to a version that allows a fsb over 220. I don't have a floppy drive though lol. i am soo screwed for atleast a week.

What do you mean? The fsb wont go past 220 or it wont post past 220?
