does anybody know any of the conroe supported boards out there, i wouldnt mind buying one now and using a dual core pentium d for a while, while waiting for a conroe

does the board just have to be a 975x, or is this my only choice here?

No idea if it supports sli.. i see no bridge connector

and a question for all of these.. would i have to do any modding to make it conroe ready? because from what i've read.. i do not want to do any soldering

it doesn't really matter. you'd be lucky if your card gets most of the bandwith PCI-E 4X provides. though 2X can hinder performance a bit on high end cards.

where could i find a rev.304 board, i wouldnt mind trying out intel right now, and being conroe ready seems like a plan to me..

conroe's bugging me.. with all these supporting mobo things.. i may just wait out for the 965 board so i dont have to worry about getting a rev 304
