Default locking gpu

my motherboard wont allow me to lock my gpu for overclocking, is there a way i can do this with software?

Locking the PCI/AGP frequency. I don't think you can lock it if it doesn't offer that option.

Well the thing is your PCI/AGP frequency will overclock with your fsb. The AGP is probably only going to hit like 74MHz before it craps out. So basically this disadvantage is a much smaller overclock.

i think the AGP frequency is locked to 1/3 FSB on newer pc's and PCI to 1/6 FSB. on older pc's it varies. so just keep that in mind. AGP is 66mhz and PCI is 33mhz from memory so keep in mind that will scale proportionally to whatever your stock FSB was.
