Not really. I leave the slide somewhat open and notice a difference of about 5-10 degrees. It is however more prone to dust and the like.

I think we already covered that one. It's like kicking a dead horse. Good job bro.

Anyways... i've found that when i'm benchmarking or stress testing it is better to take the side of my case off and have a regular room fan blowing in to keep the temps way down, otherwise i just leave it on the rest of the time.

as big as a room fan lol!!

the only time that removing the side of the case will increase the temps is if you have AWESOME cooling and airflow. and even then it will be cooler still with a room fan
