veedubfreak Golden Master Messages 6,979 Jun 28, 2008 #5 I assume you mean after lapping the cpu? Theres no reason to clean it before as you'll be sanding off any dirt anyway. Just use high % alcohol and a coffee filter.

By lapping it,, dont be expecting any huge losses in temp.. maybe a degree Anybody on here actually see a big diff in temp?
