Just ordered my new gaming rig....

I just placed orders for my new gaming computer. This is whats in it.


Amd athlon 64 3200+ 939 processor
Asus A8V Deluxe 939 motherboard
Corsair twinx pro dual channel kit pc 3200 400 mhz(2x512)
eVGA 6800gt 256mb agp video card
Seagate barracuda 200 gb sata hard drive
Cooler Master wave master silver case also the window side panel for the case
LG dvd-rw rom( will get another drive in the future)
Ultra x-connect 500w titanium with uv blue power supply
Thermaltake silent boost cpu fan
sony 1.44 floppy drive
windows xp home oem
the rest is just some cables and a couple of fans.

I have a couple of questions about this setup. Will I have to flash the bios with this motherboard since the cpu is the 90nm version? Also I have heard windows xp doesn't like sata hard drives so I have to download the drivers from the manufacturer website right?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

From what I have heard, yes, you will have to flash the mobo. And I will be ordering that exact system for X-mas, except i'm getting a 64 3500+ and 130nm instead of 90nm b/c I have no clue what and how to flash the mobo.

looks like a good system.
you don't have to flash the Asus if you bought Rev. 2... they natively support winchesters.
