Just installed new cooler: What now?

OK, thanks for the advice, guys! At what temperatures should I consider removing the low-noise adaptor? With my CPU running at 0-3%, I get core temps averaging about 44 C (111 F). While running Prime95 stress test, the cores go up to about 60C (140 F), after running for about 45 seconds. I didn't want to run it for too long, so I didn't see how long it could stand this.

That's fine having the low noise adapter installed.

Today I just received an error on boot: "CPU fan error! Press F1 to enter setup". I'm thinking this may be just that it thinks the fan is running too slow, but then again, I had a computer once that just went caput after about a month of this warning. How seriously should I take this?
