just bought a Zalman CNPS9500...

but i'm not sure which way its supposed to be facing. Is the fan side supposed to be facing the rear of the case, or is it supposed to be facing towards the front?

Doesn't matter, depends on how you want your airflow. Just remember that the fan SUCKS air in, it doesn't blow out.

The fan side should be facing the front of the case, if your overall airflow is from front to back. Otherwise, the fan side should be on the back.

Exactly what vybuni said. Make sure the 9500 is blowing in the direction of your rear exhaust fan. Have fun with that.

you're gonna love the fan. Works VERY well and is extremely quiet...although it does make some noise when gaming

Quick question about this heatsink and a case. I am going to get a Silverstone TJ07 and this heatsink. Which way do I face it since the intake is at the back and the exhaust is at the top?

....just orient it toward your exhaust fans.

So if your exhaust is at the top...have the fan blades facing down (the fan pulls air)
