Default Intel speed step..?

Ok so I finally got round to playing with my PC and got this:



However CPUZ shows it as:



I'm guessing this is intel speedstep but I can't find the flippin setting to disable it

Should be in advanced settings then go to cpu config.

K, The annoying thing is it's one of those things I can never find. I've seen it before but can't find it again

I'll take a butchers now..

edit: It's not under cpu config

Lol, it's really bugging me. I know it's there!! I prefered the phoniex BIOS..oh well. Looks like it's google's chance to shine..

Yep it's disabled for me too but still shows up as 1.9Ghz despite being at 3.5Ghz

CPUZ says 1.9ghz? go by what cpuz says, not windows. it misread my pentium d and said it was at 6.0ghz lol

there are 2 settings anyway...C1E and something else..can't remember the other, sorry
