Old news, I'm pretty sure that someone got even higher on an intel chip. 7.6 on that particular chip according to http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=59753

Super Pi record is 9 seconds now, on a core 2.

I'm only 5.5 seconds above the world record

But I'm sure there are thousands of people with times like mine.

geez i'm just thinking of how fast a liquid nitrogen cooled conroe would do. that'd be fast.

too bad they don't make GPU's that can keep up w/ processors. (well at least not the least bit affordable GPUs)

around $300-500

not affordable for me but for avid gamers it is.

the one in the link will be WAY to expensive...and it needs a system requirement or at least 2GB!?! I doubt many gamers will be using that. Probably Pixar or something haha.

still cool to see stuff like that. i just wish it was affordable.
