Unless you don't care about wasting money I'd say go AMD.

As a general rule: With Intel you get a barely noticeable increase in performance from an AMD for a HELL of a big increase in price.

exactly...in benchmarks...u wuld find. GOod point BUT in visible performance u wuld not see a diff from like 2800+ against a 2.8 Ghz 800 fsb. thats my 2 cents.
