Richard have you considered systems from ? you would get more value for your money with their pre-configured AMD systems.

I've considered it but I decided not to. I'm a Canadian resident, and I don't want to have to pay shipping costs and pay in USD.

Looks good, you can always add things like more ram, a PCI soundcard etc. if you feel the need, at a later date anyway.

now thats better You bumped up quite a bit .What brand is your Power Supply .For a top of the line brand of PS such as Enermax 350 should be ok .But if i were to do this i would go with a Enermax EG 465 P-VE

Yea that looks good, in my case everything is onboard apart from my g-card.. works much better I find. (better airflow as well).
You need to check the make and specs of the RAM as well.
Pentium 4 2.8 with M0 stepping.
Only air cooling tho

Ok thanks all. I'll see if I have any sound cards lying around.
I know I have a couple video cards downstairs so I'll probably use one. And I'll go for an Enermax EG465P-VE FM P4 450W just to make sure I have enough power lol.

For 800 fsb you need2 stick's of memory.You can get by with 1.Some kind of burner would be nice.
