implications of a 12" fan

yea i think i have to abandon the idea, cos if the moto issue, and it may be quite noisy, it s a shame cos it would have looked cool......

I dont understand. You want to spend all this money and time trying to install a huge noisy fan. Why? The temperature with air cooling won't get any lower than ambient temp anyway.

Air conditioning pumps and fans would be belt driven, but the radiator fans are not as they come on when the car starts to get too hot when stationary.

It depends on the age of the car son. Newer cars have electric fans. Older or cheaper cars have mechanical fans (belt driven).

Just depeds. Soem have 15cfm and I've seen them up to 200cfm. The 200cfm fan I saw though was loud (about 60bd at full speed).
