Default I need a power button. How do I make one?

So for my new build which is coming from newegg on monday, I didn't buy a case because cases suck. I want to make my own case out of wood, but the problem is, I need a power button. I threw away an old case I had, so I can't really strip it from there.

I have a few switches, but my problem is that I don't know how to hook it up to the motherboard. I need one of those female pins, like those jumpers, so I can stick it into the mobo. Where can I get something like that?

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

use a screw driver to short out the pins on the board, that's what i did with my mobo

remove the wires from your existing switch. Touch them together for a second to start the PC. If you need to force a shutdown just hold the wires together until it stops.

You can get a a new power switch wires here

2 pin Motherboard connector

Allright, but I want something in the long-run too, I don't want to solder anything directly to the pins on the motherboard, and duct-tape won't work.

Is it possible to modify a jumper so you can hook something up to the pins?

The board may actually have a power switch on it already.

I know foxconn does this with some of their boards.

Oh yes, the connection wire is what I need:

2 pin Motherboard connector

Will take a while to ship too, i'll guess ill go with the paperclip short-circuit until that comes.

I'm getting a Gigabyte board:

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard - AMD Motherboards
