I cant get the heatsink on :(

I just got my amd64 today but i can get the heatsink/fan on. Its go two things that need to be clipped to the base and i can only get one of the to clip on. The other one wont go on even with loads of force.

Any ideas?

Its the stock heatsink/fan btw.

Its ok i got it on now. Do the retail ones need some sort of thermal paste or is the stuff on the bottom of the heatsink its replacement?

the little pad on the bottom of the heatsink is its replacement yes. The pad sucks though, if you can, scrape it off and use arctic silver paste
