I have an old computer that i am going to be selling and was wondering what yous thought it was worth. Below is the description of it.

AMD Athlon 1700+ 1.47GHz (overclocked to 1.49GHz)
Soyo AK35GTR Mobo (i think)
60GB Seagate HD
G-Force 2 MX440 32MB
Creative Labs Sound Card
V.92 56K Dialup card
10/100 Ethernet card
Avus Mid-tower case
Optical Mouse
Standard Keyboard
Standard Speakers
How much for all that?
What about if I add a 15in LCD moniter
Thanks for the info

Basic System

It looks like a pretty good and basic system. I think somone would pay anywhere from $300-$450 for it. Complete with the monitor $500 would be a good price, since you include basic inputs (keyboard, mouse) and speakers, which is a good addition.

Overall great computer for college students, if you know some ask them, you'll probably get more offers.

The LCD is a great addition, just because LCDs are so expensive.

Yep collage students should look into this comp prolly, neways its my 300th post, woohoo!! its my b day!!its my b day!!

$300 ?? for an AMD 1 Ghz machine? Doesn't that seem a little steep to anyone???

I'd spend the extra $100/150 bucks and buy a brand new system with all of the bells and whistles! (dell, hp its all good)

The most valuable thing you have is that 15" LCD monitor (Which you can get brand new for $260, used, maybe.. MAYBE $200)

And by the way, I didn't make these prices up... www.pricewatch.com

Check it out!

You missed something...

Memory... Doesn't seem to be in your list.

Rule, no one will most likely buy a computer without any memory in it. I didn't realize that it didn't have any in it, especially a newbie.

My new quote: $225 and $300 with the LCD.

+$25 anyways because its built...

I usually don't miss things like that...:)

yeah i didnt realize i forgot the memory. anyways, it has 384MB of 133 SDRAM. Thanks for all the price quotes, i had origonally figured i could get around $350.
thanks everyone that posted and i will check out pricewatch.com

PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY cell567. i hope im around yet to see my 300th.
