I have an Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 motherboard with Phoenix AwardBIOS.

I'm pretty sure that you need to change the Bus speed in order to Overclock, but the only thing I can change in my BIOS is the multiplier and the FSB (QDR), which i'm pretty sure you don't change.

I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 CPU, which i'm pretty sure only allows an 8x multiplier at max(PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE tell me if I'm wrong).

Is there like a secret option in the BIOS or something?

Thanks,

To overclock, you have to change the FSB. You have to increase in small increments.

^ thats what you do... but by you can only drop the multiplier... unless theres a glitch in where you lucked out..
