How Do I Disassmeble A PC Fan?

Okay, I've tried to use the search function but I seriously think it's broken. I searched fan and it had no results, leading me to rage and come here. I can't for the life of my find how to Disassemble a fan completely. Take the magnet and axle out of the blade, and remove the circuit board and motor from the fan body. This is driving me nuts, for such a simple mod. It's a Cooler Master 200mm.

They usually are not fixable. They sonic weld everything together, making it near impossible to dissasemble.

Well I haven't broken it...yet. How am I supposed to paint this bad boy?

Small paint brush, some paint, and a bit of patience? Thinking Warhammer figure painting style.
Might be able to air-brush/spray paint it if you manage to properly fill any cracks that lead into the inner mechanics.

I'd say mask off the areas well, then spray paint.

All you need to seal is the open motor end, like paton said. Grab a bit of masking tape, whack it over that one end, then spray away!

I went with the masking idea. Worked pretty swell! Pics!

Anyone have any suggestions on going about putting pink LED's in this?

It's fairly easy. Drill the holes, solder LEDs together + resistor, stick the LEDs in, glue to the position you want.

It's a good mod? Lol good to start with too if you haven't modded much before, as it only uses cheaper components. Another member did the same thing a while back, then upgraded it to be a little more technical
