Default How about this fan...

Ok, I posted a few days ago asking about the correct fan that has a good noise/CFM ratio, and the Panaflo was suggested.

How about this one???

It is the M1B model with the 3-pin connector, so it does support RPM monitoring.

That fan only out-puts 32-CFM. I suggest the Vantec Tornado, which is a 80mm fan with 84-CFM.

Panaflos are really nice, but they tend to shine most in the 120mm size. I would look into something else for a 80mm fan - perhaps what codeine suggested. But im sure you can find something to better suite your needs.

32 CFM is very weak, I suggest a tornado or a thermaltake fan.

that noise to airflow ratio sucks although the tornado is very noisy and i wouldnt recomend it unless you have a fan speed controller

Algu7344, you cant just say get any kind of Thermaltake fan. Same with Vantec or any other brand. Because they carry all different types, which perform different. Thermaltake dont carry good fans anyways. Just cases.

But that Vantec tornado is the best 8mm you will find.

There's barely any airflow. WTF? Why would they even make something like that?

yeah PP, but the point is he just said 'any thermaltake'.....well........lol that's a pretty wide margin haha, not very specific.

I have a tornado, it's louder than a hair dryer easily.......but I have a fan controller so it makes it tolerable, but I'd really never suggest a tornado without a fan controller
