I plan on updating my computer with a new mobo and a video card to go with it. I've fallen out of the hardware loop and have no idea what to get. I heard the Asus A8N is good but can anyone recommend me a good, compatible video card that would be able to play games like Oblivion well? I'm looking for something in the $250-$350 range. I'm also wondering on how I could check to see if the mobo could fit in my case or how much power I would need.

well, the Asus A8N is 939 so it stands to reason that he chose a board that would fit his CPU

A8N = socket 939 and PCI-E

I'd recommend a 7950 GT 512MB

If he can afford the 7950 GT, then he should get it. If he cant, then my option still stands.

Foxconn though? I would atleast go either xfx or evga just to be safe.

Sorry, I forgot that say that I was going to get a new CPU also. Any recommendations for that?

BTW, how do I know if this stuff will fit my case or if my power supply can handle it?
