Highest 3200+ can go?

I have an AMD 3200+ and im not sure that its worth overclocking just yet. I was wondering what the highest speed people have gotten it to stable and what type of cooling they are using...thanks

well the highest speeds would be on experimental LN (Liquid Nitrogen) cooling and on phase change cooling. using realistic cooling systems you should reach between maybe 2.6-3.0ghz, 3.0ghz is if you are lucky and would certainly require water cooling.

Hardcore overclockers use liquid nitrogen, enthusiastic overclockers use water, everyone else uses air.

There is no speed you can overclock a 3200 to, every chip made is different and will clock differently. Just raise the FSB by 5 mhz at a time until stuff goes wrong, then back off.

Stepping would give you an idea of what to expect...aftermarket aircooler would probably yield at least 2.5GHz
