On reviews and other forums about OC's of the 7900gs they give the mem @ a 1xxxmhz number. However on coolbits or ATi Tool it gives it as a 3 digit number, stock @ 660 I think.

I'm gonna do my own 5mhz by 5mhz oc, but I would still like to know the diffrence in these numbers andabout where everyone else is at.

I have a eVGA 7900GS KO

Also, if you do have a 7900GS you could post your OC results :D

1xxx is the effective clock, as it is DDR, so transmits both ways.

if it is 660 stock, that is the same as 1320 effective.

i got my GT mem to 800 (1600 effective) stock volts and cooling and 560 on the core, lets see what a GS can do ;)

ah, thanks for the explanation. I'm gonna go see what this card can do and post back my 3d mark score :)
