Question Help Picking AMD Processor

I wont a AMD 64 processor anywhere from 3200+ - 3500+ and can spend up to around $300. But there are a ton to pick from on newegg.com. Anyone have a suggestion or personal experience ? Also I heard socket 939 was abit better than 754, is this true ? HELP !!

get the 3500. faster the better. and also definitely get a socket 939.

the only reasion 939 is better is because it supports dual channel memory. definitely get the socket 939 amd 64 3500+

If you can afford it a socket 939 will be better. As for the CPU...i would go for the 3500+. The 3200+ isn't all that much cheaper i think.
