who revived this really old topic? but i got it now thanks my friend's 680i had that FSB Hole issue which caused an issue... oh well...

I will be buying a Q6600 in July 22 and I will be oc as well but I have never bought a aftermarket cooler which one you guys recommend for the price/performance ratio?

Would the Freezer 7 Pro, be enough to cool the Q6600, at good temps?....knowing that quads, pump out quite a lot of heat, when overclocked.

So Freezer 7 Pro is not enough for the Q6600??

I would recommend the Tuniq, even though it's pricier, than the Freezer 7 Pro, for the quad.

trust me i got the q6600 and a tuniq 35 idle goes up to 37 if the room is hot.

Honestly, I have one, Load temp @ 3.41 Ghz never excedded 54C..
