This explains it perfectly... Basically you install this reg key (well you click it and it does it automatically), and go to the overclock menu (it will show you how in the link). Then you just go up by 5 mhz increments until you start to get artifacts (random lines and shapes while playing games). Once you start getting those you back off to your last stable overclock.

I got a tool called Rivatuner to overclock the ol' TNT2, and it should work with your card too

here's what to do with rivatuner

^^ it's in 16 colour so it's small enough to attach ^^

then you set what frequencies you want, click 'test' then 'apply'
test it in a couple of apps (like benchmarks or games)
put the settings up or down depending on how it goes
then click 'save' once you're happy with it
