Default HELP! Black Screen

I finally bought the parts to my first gamming system, I put them all together with no problems but when I power up all the lights, heatsinks, and fans come on but it dosn't bring me to the bios its just a blank screen. Here are the parts:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3000+

Video Card: XFX Geforce 6800GT 256MB

Ram: Kingston Value 2x512

Hard Drive: SAMSUNG 160GB IDE Ultra ATA133

Case: ATRIX Black/Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower 400W Power

I also have a DVD-ROM drive. It's my first time building a PC, I thought I did everything, I've been reading the manuals over and over trying to get it to work for hours PLZ HELP!

make sure you reseat your memory and gfx card.. And also, did you plug in the 12volt power connector to the mobo? Im not talking about the big cable that has like 24 wires in it. Im talking about a little 4 pin square connector. It powers the cpu. And if you did, try powering it up without memory in it, you should get a beep code, then you will at least know your mobo and cpu is workin
