Help with Advent Lappy

Hi My Laptop was bought last april,

I noticed lttle things happening to it like, slow startup/shutdown, also hanging a little on windows startup,
now when i close the laptop screen down it whistles a little? whats going wrong???

would it be possible to send a log of the system?

also what programme and where do i post it?
