GRR, SLI is gaying me i think.

Probably a silly question, but are you sure you can do SLI with 2 different manufacturers?

Not silly at all since i inquired the same thing before i bought the 2nd card.

You can, as long as they are the same card. Thats the answer i got back.

I kind of don't like the idea of running the 2 different manufactures so I'm going to trade my evga one over to a buddy who is buying an xfx 8800 gt 512.

So then that will be taken out of the equation.

I think the drivers decide to make the cards identical , since the cores are the same on them physically .

So, any advice other then OC'ing with atitool to make this score NOT a single card score... it's very frustrating when i take a card out and it performs better.

I have it at verison .26

When i test max memory and let it run, it eventually crashes.

Is this normal? because if i stop it when i see the yellow sqigglys then its fine.

Personally, I set all the clocks/speeds in ATI Tool manually, the auto finder setting is quite shabby (as well it should be) from my experience
