Will anything bad happen, if I try to set my ram to 4-4-4-12, and it fails?

I know these aren't true stable overclocks, but I just wanted to see how far it can go.

Course it wont do anything bad, it may not boot and youll have to reset the CMOS but thats about it - youre a wizard techie, so you should be able to fix that!

lol...I just never tried it before. But now I did and it didn't boot, so just reseted, and that's it.

What is your DDR Voltage - I vote for increasing DDR Voltage and giving it some more juice and seeing what you can get out of it when linked :p

I was able to stay in 3.6GHz for a few hours, until I ran SMP. But I'm back to 3.4, and I plan on going to 3.6 or 3.5 when I get a new case and CPU cooler, because the temps aren't where I like them.
