Good temperature for my p4?

My system is running at 25 celius according to speedfan. Thats a 9800 pro card 1.5gb of ram a gigbyte board and p4 2.8 ghz

Is this a good speed for my comp to run at while idling. When im playing games what should my temp be under to be safe?

You should look at the CPU temperature instead. That is likely to be much higher.

A good temperature would be below 60C.

I wouldn't trust speedfan,If i were you i would down load MBM5 It will give you a more acurate reading for you temp's.

Yeah i got it and it says 26/25

I assume 26 is the CPU temperature, that's a pretty low temperature. Download Prime95 and run it to put your CPU under load and watch the temperature.

Prime95 is packaged with a search engine thing. Eff that
