Default good deal?

i just bought this hp pavilion a503w tower for $20:

Intel Celeron 2.7GHz
256MB PC2700 DDR333
LiteOn cd-rw 52x32x52
and case.

the computer was hit by a power surge that killed the hard drive, psu and MoBo. Did I make out alright?

Well the CD-RW, if it's working, still worth 20$ and more, and the CPU not too bad, and also the RAM, if you would just give out a little 100$ on that, you could have something that would work and that is not too bad. Yeah it's a good deal. Even tought it's "HP" (Bahhhh...)

Awesome deal, I think. A couple hundred and you'll have that thing running. Won't game that well, but gaming isn't everything right?!

Yeah, I thought so too. But I just figured I would see what people thought. I used the tower already. As for building another computer out of whats left over, i think i might. But it won't be a gaming PC by any means. Especially with a Celeron... Thanks for the input guys!
