did you ever go through that and see how much **** they try to sell you? an alienware ethernet cable is 30 bucks then they try to sell you portable media players. WTF? that fingerprint reader is kinda cool though.

dj chris thats unbelievable. you could build that for like 500 bucks. without the monitor or speakers. *shakes head in shame

Well if you don't buy all the alienware extras and just the very basic service and what not the price isn't actually THAT bad. Consdiering you get an OS and support and all that. Whereas all you people just figure the hardware prices because you all get cracked OS's.

The price is bad for us. Because we dont need tech support. Nor their stupid played out warranty's. We get warranty's with the hardware we buy. Alienware acts like they are the only people that offer warranty's... Hell i think you get warranty's on floppys..

Indeed.

Alienware probably is appealing to the halfway people who know that prebuilt companies by Compaq, Dell and HP are paperweights, however they don't know how to go about building a new machine.
