Most DDR2-1066 requires 2.1V to run at DDR2-1066 speeds.

Also, 3.6GHZ can usually be done at stock core volts, or with only a small increase.
I'm pretty sure CPU power usage goes up a lot more with an increase in core volts than with frequency increases.

I was trying my best to describe. As in, the fan would be pulling in air and dispersing it out the opposite side. Sorry If I made it sound wrong, I do that sometimes. It was just a suggestion because I see many systems configured that way, unless there are fans on the top of the case.

Looks like you have it figured out though, that's what matters.

Now push and bench darnit!

reading about it first hehe, the easy way

no biggy, as long as the job is done correctly, it doesnt matter witch way you learned.
