Hey guys,

I need some help with shoppin around for a case. I found this really cool one at TigerDirect but I need to know if it will bring the temp of my cpu down any. I am currently using an off-brand case that keeps the temp of my CPU at about 59 degrees celcius. Please tell me if this case would lower my temps any if I used all the available fan slots.

Thanks.

_SiLv3R_ i dont know what your talking about but that case is almost as ugly as your celeron processor, although it will cool better then the one you listed OIDanTheManIO. The case i currently use is only $26 withought a power supplly (im assuming you dont need one) heres a link http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-156-018&depa=1 . right now that case holds my case temp at 24-30 degrees celcius which is pretty cool i'd say for stock cooling (dont even use the 60 mm rear fan) and my 3200+ is oc'd so its putting off quite a bit more heat.

if you want to for some reason spend more money i would suggest getting this case which i have another oc'd system in http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-156-131&depa=1 it has 5x 80 mm fans but like the reviews say the power supply is pretty useless so i suggest switching it with the one you have (unless thats a no name PSU as well). this case keeps my MAJOR oc'd mobile 2400 cool as can be.

its really up to you but if your not gonna majorly overclock i suggest just getting the first case i mentioned (it doesnt have a psu) but make sure you turn one of the side fans around or you wont have good cooling (i dont know why they didnt just do it for you)

So let me get this straight, the second one will keep my CPU cooler than the first link you mentioned?

As far as I can see, both the cases posted above are butt ugly. The first case posted is "ok" but it doesn't appeal to me that much, with aesthetics or cooling features.

This may be a bit pricey but it will keep your comp really cool and its really well built- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-112-051&depa=1

This is the case I have- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-156-142&depa=1
It does a pretty good job at cooling, I just don't have enough airflow behind the case. I has the ability to hold 7 80mm case fans, but only comes with three.
