Right, i was just looking on the site and found that there's a new gfx card which seems to be better... Here. It's the PowerColor ATI Radeon 9800XT 256MB & Half Life 2 Bundle - Retail (GX-014-PC) for £159.95 (£187.94 Including VAT at 17.5%) which is the same price as the Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Ultimate 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI - Retail (GX-038-SP) which i oridginaly had. Is this card better? The fact that it's got a big pile of games with it make me suspicious.

the 9800XT is no doubt better than a 9800pro

if its the same price go for it. You even get free HL2

The reason you get lots of "games" is because its a feature, i.e. the company doesn't pay £39.99 for them like we do, it buys them in bulk at about £2 a go - the Half Life 2 game is just a voucher last I heard, good luck getting a game for it.

As for your system, get a X800 Pro is your can obviously, the 256MB 9800 XT is an amazing card for every desktop application.

You definitely should not get the Corsair 4000XMS, its a problem with trying to get your CPU FSB speed to 250MHz to get the performance from it.

If you do get your FSB speed to more than 230MHz then you memory should be the 3700XMS, the Corsair 3700XMS will keep up with your FSB from 230MHz +.
