Default give me a hand here

im using gigabyte utility here and in it is v-tuner.i can clock the gpu clock and memory.what are they for?isnt clocking the cpu enough?

CPU: C2D E8400 @3.8Ghz
MEM: 4x2Gb TeamElite @844Mhz 5-5-5-15
GPU: Sapphire 6950 2 Gb Dirt 3 flashed to 6970
HDD:Western Digital 2x500Gb
PSU: Corsair AX750 Gold
CPUCooling: Noctua NH-U12P
Casing: RaidMax Case

are u talking about to change clock speeds for your ram and gfx card ? that's just to change the speeds of them to make them better or worse, temp will increase with higher speeds if you dont have good cooling on both and also heat will decrease if you put it below standard. I recommend you just leave them as is....
