Default gigabyte ga-m55sli-s4 motherboard

I just updated the bios to f4 but i still dont see any HTT multiplier or memory settings... this is sad

Most of the time when you update or flash the bios it won't give you any new options, it just makes it more stable.

but either way ive decided this motherboard sucks

i cant even get the FSB over 230! no matter what i do too...

i used to have a dfi lanparty... she was much better

Lower the HyperTransport bus from 1000MHz to something like 600Mhz. And lower your RAM speed from 400MHz to 333MHz.

ooo i did... ive done a bit of overclocking before and i know what to do but **** this thing just doesnt do anything

Weird. Maybe your specific model doesn't have a PCI lock. I know I can get to 250 and beyond on mine, and even then the only thing restricting me is my garbage memory.

EDIT: Also check your AGP speed (if you're using AGP, that is). 8x will usually not work well on an overclocked system, change it to 4x
