If your 5900XT is follow 5950 PCB design, then u can modify the BIOS n change the card to 5950. Althought can modify to 5950, but it only run 4X only, the performance much lesser than normal O/C.
if your card is using Hynix ram, it can easily overclock till 850Mhz.
if using Samsung ram, overclock till 800Mhz is very good already.

Somebody getting impatient

Built into your NVIDIA drivers is a utility called "Coolbits" which allows your to modify GPU/Memory speed. You can do this manually or download a program to do it for you - I usually do it manually.

Most hardware/review sites show you how to do it:

If u want to change your card to 5950, U have to change your system BIOS, is pretty dangerous, is something wrong, your mobo will be gone.
Or u can just normal O/C it using the Nvidia utilities aplication.

Nvidia Forceware driver already had this O/C function, just hidden only, what u have to do is open it.
