Athlon 64's run cooler than Pentium 4's, usually not above 42 degrees celcius on load

for most people, a quick browse of the forums though will find threads where people are runing 65C stock lol. i guess there is a trick to installing the HSF on the new CPU's?

55 is fine for prescotts, they run way hotter than northwoods. Its all good about the soprano. I am using a thermaltake heatsink. Xaser 7. 6500 rpm very loud. But I guess its sign of power lol
